Our Weekend...

This weekend Scottie surprised me with a getaway trip to Park City for our Anniversary. It was epic. I don't know how else to describe it. So glad we had that opportunity and so grateful for Scot for doing it!

Our hotel...

I forgot to pack Scot some socks so he had to wear my warm slippy socks for a day before we could go buy him some! Haha! I think he looks cuter in these

Dinner at the Melting Pot... best place to eat! Probably gained five pounds from it but totally worth every bite!

All in all, it was an awesome weekend and sad its over but so grateful we got the chance to do it. Happy Anniversary Sweetie! I love you so mucho!

Happy Birthday Porter!

Reasons why we love Porter:

1. He is the most lovable little man I've ever met
2. He likes bugs
3. He has the meanest tantrum around... you don't mess with Porter
4. He loves the wiggles
5. He wants to be Dr. Knickerbauker when he grows up
6. He loves to sing
7. He likes looking at and taking pictures
8. He will put anything around his neck to make it look like a cape
9. His dancing moves are above and beyond the best (gotta love that right elbow up!)
10.He always gives the best hugs...when he's in a good mood

Happy Birthday Porter! We love you!

Ballerinas

My nieces had their ballet recital awhile ago and I had to post these pictures because I think they are too cute! They are taking from Miss Natalie who happens to be the daughter of Miss Connie, my dance teacher when I was their age! Miss Connie was truly an inspiration. I want to be just like her when I grow up.

Sure love these girls!

WE DID IT!!!!

For those of you who do not know the story of "We did it!" Please read Krystal and Dog's blog... its priceless and so true of how I am feeling right now. WE DID IT!!!!!

I just wanted to inform all of you that I have officially graduated from college... for now. I know I know. I'm crazy for going back but I have to tell you that finally finishing my undergrad was the biggest weight off my shoulders. Such a long haul and so happy to be done!

Please see how happy we all are in this picture... such a great day

me and the girls from the music building... suffering through our music classes together. Sure love these girls and so happy to be done but sad to say goodbye to some of them!

The best part was walking to our car and seeing an 8 week
old baby bull dog. Cutest thing I have ever seen! I wanted to take her home with me! Scot had to drag me away before I was going to steal it.

Just wanted to say thanks to my husband for putting up with my stress and messy house. WE DID IT SWEETIE!!!!

A week from....

The last two weeks of school for me was something I will never wish to experience again. From wondering if I was going to pass a class, opera rehearsals, ensemble gigs to getting my identity getting stolen, it was a week that I look back and wonder how I survived. As I was checking my account, noticing that more companies were stealing our money...I broke down. Scot comes in to console me. He goes to sit. The next thing I know, Scot is giving me a very surprised look and informs me by slowly turning around that there is a HUGE rip in his pants!! We ended up laughing rather than crying. I must say, it made realize that God certainly has a sense of humor.

I also have to post these pictures because they are hilarious. This was in the pit of the Opera. Please notice ALL of our candy stash we had for the concerts. And please notice how smart we were to unwrap any loud wrapper we might have had. People were starting to realize what was going on and eventually we had our own little candy shop for those suffering in the pit with us. That was the moment that Kephren and I became the stars of the show.

awesome amounts of food
