Whitewash

For President's Day Weekend, Scottie and I headed up to the GR with friends and family. It was so much fun hanging out, snowmobiling, and above all, SLEDDING!!!! We've got the best hill for sledding and when the snow is perfect, it becomes the hill of death. You get going so fast! So fun and so scary! After a long day of playing in the snow, we pack up and head back to a warm fire and some hot soup and hot chocolate ending with a good movie. Such a great weekend!

Waist deep!

Just a random beaver tail...

The hill of death!

Until next time!

My man

Getting ready to practice and I hear footsteps coming into the room to grab a jacket for school. Yep. This is what I saw. My man. On his way to school. Church socks, gym shorts, no showering and all. He is obviously trying to impress those around him. I had to take a picture I was laughing so hard- Sure love him!

Please check out his bed head... He's a keeper!

Valentine's Day

Happy Valentines Day!

Call us old married folk now but for V Day we did a big dinner at Olive Garden and then came home and watched Groundhog Day! Wouldn't want it any other way.... yep. We're in love.

Flowers from my sweet husband and my wonderful dad.

Enjoying his new iphone with Jacob. Guess he is part of the cool kids now

So happy with this purchase that he was even willing to kiss it for me for the camera. Wow.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

Happy Birthday Lydia!

LYDIA IS ONE!

Ten Reasons Why We Love Lydia:

10. She's a chub
9. She cries every time Scot holds her
8. She smiles every time I hold her
7. She is afraid of Scot's facial hair (aren't we all?)
6. She growls
5. She lets Chester lick her face
4. She enjoys being nakey
3. She has hair that can stick straight up
2. She is easy to please and always happy
1. She is the sweetest little girl and we can't believe how big she is getting!

Now that I have officially made it sound like Lydia is our own, we just wanted to wish her a happy birthday and let her and her family know we love her!

This picture was a favorite of the night.
This car was given to Lydia by mom and dad. Instead of dad putting this little project together, it somehow ended up being Jacob's job. Surprised?
While Jacob was putting this sucker together, his little helper, aka Porter, thought that by placing the rest of the screws inside the car, it would speed up the process. Poor Jacob spent a good while trying to get those bad boys out of there to complete the product. Instead of us helping him, we just laughed and took pictures of his misfortune.

Here is the finished product. I don't think I have seen a one year old so excited before. She wouldn't get out of it. It was all worth it, right Jacob?

I had to put this picture up. Every time we see Porter, he is dressed up in something new. The night of Lydia's birthday, he came downstairs wearing this- definitely our favorite so far.

Happy birthday Lydia! We love you!

Kellie Colton

Hi all! So I was playing at the Grand the other day and this random woman asked if she could take some pictures. She promised to give them to me if I solicited them to others. A little embarrassing to put pictures up of me but I wanted to help her out. What do you think?

SUPER BOWL

Super bowl parties come with the territory of having five brothers. Since I can remember, we've had super bowl parties at the house. Full of REALLY! good food, good company, and a big screen TV. This year was actually a little casual with John being gone on the mission (probably the only who really cares who wins in the family), the Jacob Webb family being out of town, and Dog and Styles in the Cleve. Still, it was so nice to just sit around in our pjs and relax and not worry about anything. So wonderful! What a wonderful day!

Scot and me at Super Bowl 2003!

So i look a little scary in this one...
