I was hungry!

So the other day I get a call from Emilee. It was her usual, "How ya doing? Anything exciting going on in your life" phone call. I responded with the usual, "nothin too much. Just practicing." I then continued with our usual chat and asked, "What about you? Anything exciting for you?" Her respond was priceless...

"Oh you know. The usual. Andrew choked on a quarter today."

WHAT!? She continued to tell me that baby Andrew was holding a quarter in his hand one minute and the next, his face goes blue and he's trying to throw up. Yep. You guessed it. The quarter went into the little guy's mouth. She panicked- as any mother I'm sure would do. After much of hitting on the back, Andrew seemed to be fine. But Em was not so sure. They raced to the emergency room just to be safe and sure enough, the quarter had been eaten. Here is the X Ray to prove it.

Can you see the little line? Yep- its a quarter in his tummy! The stuff below is his zipper.

Later, Lauren asked baby Andrew why he ate the quarter and his response was simply: "Lauren... I was hungry!"

Sure love this kid. Who couldn't love this face? So grateful he is ok!

It's a Girl!

Congratulations to my brother and sister in law, Jacob and Brooke for their adorable baby girl, Lydia Martsie Webb. She is the sweetest little thing. It was hard for me to give her back because all I wanted to do was kiss those cheeks! I must say, this little one came out looking like a Webb.

B&B: Bowling and Bajios

While cleaning their home, mom and dad "found" some money in the couch (probably along with fruit roll-ups trash and pretzels) and felt the best way to spend it would be for us kids to enjoy a night out from babies and stress. No later than a minute, we all got an email insisting that we go out and spend it. Best parentals ever! Scoty and I were so grateful. 5:30 comes and we meet to decide to do a B&B night... Bowling and Bajios. We jump in the truck and head to some great mexican food and a few great games at Sue Rich. Lets just say by the end of the night we had sore arms and some major SPs but it was worth it! Thank you mom and dad for such a great night with the family!

Bowling shoes are probably my favorite thing about bowling. They really are quite chic especially with the neon yellow laces. Gosh I love bowling shoes. Look out Miranda Presely, these babies are in!

Phil just got a strike. The competition is on between us! You are going down!

James' favorite puffy coat

Thanks again mom and dad! We are so grateful and sure love you!

Happy Martin Luther King Day!

Can I just say how grateful I am for three day weekends!? Scoty and I got to go to the GR and hang out with the fam on the mountain sledding and snowmobiling. What a party!

Check out this snow beauty! Lovely Leah playing in the snow

Sure love these girls so much!

The whole gang outside the GR. One of my favorite places on earth.

Happy Birthday James!

This year is a special year for James but look out drivers cause he just turned 16! James is the best little brother. He is smart, funny and of course such a stud with the ladies (especially John's friends!) We sure love you James. Thank you for always making us laugh with your random witty comments and awkwardness. We can always rely on having a good time when we are with you. Happy happy birthday to you!

Getting ordained as a priest at parents home. Really sweet experience. Thanks for letting us be a part of that bud!

ps. Scarlet and Skyler T just wanted to give a shout out to Ben Burgandy and wish him a happy birthday and also that they want you to call them because they are in need of some money.

GO JAZZ!

This year we got to hang out in a Jazz Suite. It was epic. So much fun! Thanks Dave for letting us come and enjoy great food, an awesome game and the best company ever- family! Sure love you guys!

Grattitude to Overcome Depression

OK. So I have seasonal depression. I'll admit it. The sun makes me happy. And when its hiding I get a little sad. So instead of laying in bed and wanting to do nothing but watch "An Affair to Remember" and "Chocolat" I decided to do a little research and found nothing except for making yourself sit under a light for 48 hours. Who has time to do that crap?! After much frustration, I decided to check my email and what did I find but an answer to prayer. It was an email from cute Donna from LOVE Health care saying happy 2010 to all of the volunteers. In it, she added a lecture about getting over depression by Gabrielle Melin. It talked about how being grateful can do wonders for your mood and increase your confidence, SCIENTIFICALLY! Yahoo for evidence! So I decided to write a little love note to myself and talk about three things I am grateful for everyday. Starting now...
1. candy
2. UGG boots, slippy socks and pajamas
3. Scentsy smells
4. Cell phone chargers
5. dishwashers
6. google images to look at puppies
7. a full tank of gas
8. babies
9. being able to skip
10.will Ferrell
11.heaters
To Be Continued...
