The Outlaw...

Meet Josey Wales Neff....

You might ask yourself, why this name? When Scot and I were trying to decide on a name for this little one, we wanted something that would fit her personality. Scot also wanted a manly name that he would take pride in when hunting.

So, while watching a western classic, we came across the name Josey, after THE Outlaw, Josey Wales. If you have ever seen this movie, you will understand that he is the most hard core human ever (and a good looking one at that!).

It hit us, her name had to be Josey.

She hates cuddling, only shooting humans

She never plays with her favorite chew toys and bone, only likes to play with guns

And hates it when we hold her.

I mean look at that face, she is the toughest and meanest dog out there!

In other words, the name we chose doesn't quite fit her personality, but she is the sweetest girl we know and we are so in love with her!

Nesting... by sewing baby clothes?

Who would have thought?

But seriously, what is more fun than sewing baby clothes? Happy things to make. These pictures are put up in honor of Jenn Davis- she is the crafty guru of the century (introduced to me by Abbie Ludlow). Abbie and I went over to her house the other day and I was in awe at how amazing and talented this woman is! Thank you so much for inspiring me to sew again and for the AMAZING fabric! You are so sweet! Starting baby dress number two this week!

Here is a skirt. Haven't finished the hem yet... surprised?

Things I want to sew this summer:
1. Beach Bag
2. Swimsuit Cover up
3. Sun dresses for the nieces (That's right Brooke and Drape!) Found the cutest pattern!
4. Banner? (Abbie- help me out here! You are the banner queen!)
5. Tie and Vest for the boys

These are just a few... sigh. If only fabric wasn't so expensive! Sorry honey, but you married a woman whose hobbies are pricy! First the harp and now this!

If you guys know any darling patterns that NEED to be made, please send them my way! I am being crafty this summer! Yay for projects!

Their Big Announcement...

I love how people announce when they are having their first baby. I have conjured up so many ways on how I want to announce when that moment comes (not for awhile BEN!) so I love to watch or hear how people announce...

Lucky for me, I have been able to witness three different accounts within the past 6 months of how the announcements were made. Emilee and Eric announced on Christmas day with the cutest poem about creating a quartet for the family. It was so darling!

Next was Jennifer and Drew on Mother's Day with Jeni handing a Prego sauce to the moms and saying "Happy Mother's Day" followed by huge amounts of hugs and singing praises of Hallelujah!

Last, but certainly not least, was an event that happened last Sunday at Em's house for dinner. Liz and Jason were walking around nonchalantly, when I noticed some fascinating t-shirts. I don't know if you can tell, but Liz's says, "FINALLY!" and Jason's says "Coming soon, the Fruit of my Loins." Being the slow one that I am, I ask, "What does your shirt mean Liz?" To my reply, she casually says, "Oh I don't know" and then provides a wink and a smile. I scream and jump to my feet! Could it be that the Neff family is lucky enough to have three itty babies within the next year!!!??? Once again, lots of hugs and thanking God that these miracles were finally happening!

CONGRATULATIONS ALL OF YOU! WE ARE SO EXCITED FOR THESE BABIES TO COME!

Our Big Announcement...

Scot and I would like you to meet the new addition to our family. Please welcome...

...Our sweet Brittney puppy Josey.

Isn't she sweet!?

We love her so much!

Baptism Day

Sunday, June 5, 2011
Clara and William were baptized by their dads.
It was a great day for them and we are so happy for them right now. It brings back memories of when I was baptized- white dress, braids, hands on my head, overwhelming feeling of love. Great day.

We love you both so much and are so excited and happy for you!

Vegas Baby

For our anniversary, Scot and I went to St. George and Las Vegas. It was so nice to just relax and hang out. We spent time watching movies, eating, and shopping.

Hanging out at the outlets

Doing what people do best in Vegas. I was up for awhile but then my sweet husband lost it all

Just so you all know, Celine's back

Eating at the Cheesecake Factory

At the Bellagio

Farewell city of sin... until we meet again.
