SPRING BREAK!!!!!

Spring Break has come and gone... but oh what a break it was. It was full of relaxing from the harp (for the first half), eating out, shopping, bowling and above all, spending time with Scot. Here are a few of my favorite things we did.

Gone Fishing!

Read a good book

Took awesome naps

But above all, I think our favorite was going to the zoo!

Scottie with his very LARGE turtle friend.

My favorite animal... the baby elephant!

All in all, it was a great break.
Sad it's over but so happy we were able to take one.

Spring is finally here

So I was at the Neffs the other day and baby Andrew came in the house after being outside in the backyard. I noticed how dirty his socks were and then to make it even better, there were two HUGE holes for his big toes to show through. After seeing this darling image, I realized that spring has finally come. Yahoo!

Thank goodness for beautiful weather!

Happy Birthday Mom!

You are kind, wise and above all, someone who is always striving to be better. I look up to you in so many ways. Thank you for being a wonderful mother and friend. Sure love you!

Senior Recital

On March 15, 2010, I had the opportunity to give my senior recital at the University of Utah to complete my Bachelors in Music Performance. It was incredible and such an honor and humbling experience. I couldn't believe how many people showed up.

I just wanted to thank EVERYONE who came. Thank you for taking the time to come and support me out of your busy schedule. That meant so much to me and my family and I am so grateful for you! I dedicate this post to you! You are the best and THANK YOU!!!!

All the beautiful flowers I received from friends and family after the recital

Scottie was even able to come. He had his EMT class that night and is not allowed to miss it and miraculously showed up during intermission. I was so happy to see him walking out there after intermission. What a sweetheart!

Thanks again for everyone who helped and came. Feels good to perform and now have it done. Yahoo!!!! On to the next one! Can't wait!

its been awhile... whoops!

Here is a little something to catch you up with the past month or so...

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!

Making sugar cookies with Leah and Emma

Emma insisted to her parents that she needed to bring her "sugar" with her to make sugar cookeis... she wouldn't let go of it until we got there. Love her so much!

decorating our "heart shaped" sugar cookies! Yummmm!

We came home from our Valentines date and found fun things on our porch from mom and dad. Thank you so much!

Scottie made me a "picnic" in our TV room with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, apples, fruit roll ups and coke! So we sat there and ate while we watched his bug movie I gave him for Valentines day.... so sweet.

MARCH MADNESS!!!! :)

Fulfilling our childhood dreams and purchasing about 6 packages of "squeeze-its" with Mikey and Beth one night... What is it about squeeze-its that are so enticing? Maybe its that its 90% sugar. No wonder our parents never gave them to us. I think we all got sick after them too. Totally worth it!

James sprained his ankle in a pre-season soccer game. That a boy Jeams!!!!! So tough. We're proud of you and grateful it was only a sprain. Happy that you are healing quickly too... Way to be a Webb!

Well, I hope this catches you up. Until next time!

I was hungry!

So the other day I get a call from Emilee. It was her usual, "How ya doing? Anything exciting going on in your life" phone call. I responded with the usual, "nothin too much. Just practicing." I then continued with our usual chat and asked, "What about you? Anything exciting for you?" Her respond was priceless...

"Oh you know. The usual. Andrew choked on a quarter today."

WHAT!? She continued to tell me that baby Andrew was holding a quarter in his hand one minute and the next, his face goes blue and he's trying to throw up. Yep. You guessed it. The quarter went into the little guy's mouth. She panicked- as any mother I'm sure would do. After much of hitting on the back, Andrew seemed to be fine. But Em was not so sure. They raced to the emergency room just to be safe and sure enough, the quarter had been eaten. Here is the X Ray to prove it.

Can you see the little line? Yep- its a quarter in his tummy! The stuff below is his zipper.

Later, Lauren asked baby Andrew why he ate the quarter and his response was simply: "Lauren... I was hungry!"

Sure love this kid. Who couldn't love this face? So grateful he is ok!
